Book an indoor golf simulator near you

What is a golf simulator?

A golf simulator is an indoor bay where you hit real balls into a screen while a launch monitor measures the shot. That makes it a different booking from a driving range, which sells outdoor bays or buckets of balls, and from a course, which sells tee times. Simulator bays are booked by the hour and shared by everyone playing, so a group pays for the bay rather than per player. And because the bay is indoors and heated, the season never ends. Browse the simulator venues below to compare bays, equipment and free hours.

• A bay is booked by the hour and shared by the whole group, so four players pay for one bay instead of four green fees.
• Bays are indoors and heated, which is why they fill up fastest between November and March when courses are closed.
• Practice bays put launch monitor data on the screen after every shot: ball speed, launch angle, spin and carry distance.
• Course mode plays real courses hole by hole. A full 18 holes for a group takes far longer than a practice session, so book a longer slot for it.
• A driving range and a real course are separate bookings on Thril: ranges sell outdoor bay time or balls, courses sell tee times.
• Most simulator venues have clubs available in the bay, so you can play without bringing your own set.
